Your wedding. Their point of view.

Wedding guest photos from every side of the celebration

Wedding guest photos capture the moments your friends and family notice: the table jokes, the dance-floor reunions and the reactions between the big moments. Give them a PopCam camera and a few simple photo ideas to capture the celebration from their point of view.

01

The wedding moments your guests notice

Every table has a different view of the wedding. Your oldest friends notice the reunion; a relative catches a familiar expression; someone across the room sees a moment you never knew happened.

Give guests a way to add those perspectives without turning the evening into a photo assignment. A limited roll and a little encouragement are enough to get them started.

How it works

Make it easy for guests to join in

Before

Make it yours

Create and activate your event. Choose the roll, photo look and album reveal, then share your wedding QR code.

During

Let guests snap

Guests scan, open the camera and take their photos. Their uploaded shots come together in your wedding album.

After

Relive it together

Review the collection before your chosen reveal time. Share the album link so everyone can enjoy the memories.

02

Photo ideas for every part of the celebration

Offer a few ideas that fit the rhythm of the day. Guests can pick the ones they like and leave room on the roll for something unexpected.

While everyone arrives

Two people happy to see each other, a favorite detail in the room or the view from your seat.

During the reception

Your table raising a glass, someone telling a story or a reaction during the speeches.

When the music starts

An unexpected dance partner, a group singing together or the person having the most fun.

03

Give each table a few photo prompts

Place two or three prompts beside the camera QR. Different prompts at different tables give people a starting point while keeping the collection varied.

“Show us your table.”

Take a group picture that captures the people you spent the evening with.

“Find a small detail we might miss.”

Photograph a handwritten note, a meaningful accessory or a detail you want the couple to remember.

“Save one shot for a surprise.”

Leave space for an unplanned moment that happens naturally later in the celebration.

04

Introduce the camera before the celebration starts

Send the guest camera link with a short explanation of the plan: a limited roll, a shared collection and an album to discover afterward. At the venue, put the QR where people can find it again.

Ask a planner or someone making announcements to give one friendly reminder. Let guests know participation is optional, and keep any unplugged ceremony or photography requests clear.

05

Guest photos and your photographer: two perspectives

Your photographer brings experience, equipment and a plan for the important moments. Guests bring their relationships with the people in the room and the view from inside the celebration.

Use PopCam as a companion to your professional coverage. Encourage guests to enjoy taking their own pictures while respecting the photographer’s space and any moments you want phones put away.

Your wedding guest photo questions, answered

How do we encourage guests to take photos?

Explain the idea briefly, make the camera QR easy to find and give people a few optional prompts. A table photo or a favorite moment is an easier starting point than a long checklist.

Does every guest have to participate?

No. Invite people to contribute if they would enjoy it. Guests can take a few photos and return to the celebration without needing to finish their roll.

Can we still have an unplugged ceremony?

Yes. Tell guests when you want phones put away and introduce PopCam for the parts of the celebration where photos are welcome. A reminder at the reception can let everyone know it is time to start taking photos.

Should guest photos replace our wedding photographer?

No. Guest photos offer an additional point of view. They do not replace a photographer’s planned coverage, professional portraits or responsibility for documenting key moments.
