Every generation has a story

Family vacation photo sharing for every generation

Family vacation photo sharing brings more of your family into the memories. PopCam gives each traveler a browser camera with 12 photos a day, so parents, grandparents and other relatives can capture their own view of the trip. Share one QR or guest link, take new photos together and schedule a family album reveal. No app download needed.

01

Let the family photographer be part of the story

One person often comes home with most of the pictures and appears in hardly any of them. Giving relatives their own camera link makes it easier to share the picture-taking, with each person using their own phone.

A grandparent may notice a quiet conversation. A parent might capture the morning routine. Another relative could find the funniest moment at dinner. Together, those photos build a family vacation album with more than one perspective.

How it works

From the first day to your trip album

Before you leave

Set up the journey

Choose your trip dates, number of travelers and photo look. Activate the trip, then share its QR code or camera link.

Along the way

Make a daily roll

Each person takes up to 12 photos a day in the browser camera. Check that uploads finish so those moments reach the trip album.

At the reveal

See everyone’s story

Review the collection in your host panel and share the album link. Travelers can view the photos once your scheduled reveal arrives.

02

Turn the daily roll into a family activity

Each traveler has 12 photos per day during the trip dates. A visible shots-left counter helps people save a few for later, while a fresh daily allowance gives everyone another chance to join in tomorrow.

Choose a prompt at breakfast and let participation stay optional. Younger family members can suggest what to photograph or join in with an adult, without needing a separate phone of their own.

A favorite person

Invite a picture with someone you do not see every day, and ask another relative to take it.

A small discovery

Find a color, a detail or something that made you smile on today’s outing.

A family tradition

Capture the shared meal, game or familiar joke that makes this trip feel like yours.

03

Help everyone open the same camera

Send the trip’s guest link in your family message group. For relatives joining in person, show the QR on another screen or a printed card. Both open the same trip camera in a phone browser, with no app-store download.

Try the demo together before you leave. Help anyone who needs it with camera permission, taking a photo and checking the upload status. The demo has three shots and a separate album, so your family can learn the steps before the vacation starts.

04

Plan the dates, the look and the connection

The organizer chooses the first day, duration and number of people taking photos. Trip dates and the album reveal use the organizer’s device time zone, detected and shown in setup. Setup offers 4, 7, 10 or 14 days. Set one filter for a consistent family collection, or let relatives choose their own camera look.

Photos need a connection to reach the album. Check uploads when you are back on reliable internet, using the same browser on the same phone. Photos taken during the trip can finish uploading for up to 72 hours after it ends. The daily roll uses each phone’s local midnight automatically. Changing time zones keeps the active roll until its scheduled reset, then the next roll adapts to the detected zone.

05

Make the album reveal a family moment

Schedule the reveal for after the trip’s capture dates so there is time for the whole vacation to be included. The host panel lets the organizer review uploaded photos before sharing the album link with the family.

Open the collection together and let people tell the story behind a favorite picture. Keep the album link within the people you intend to share it with; recipients can forward it. Agree with relatives before sharing family photos more widely.

Family vacation photo sharing questions

Does every family member need an app?

No app download is needed. People taking photos open the trip link or QR in their phone browser and allow camera access. Relatives can help one another get started, and younger family members can take part with an adult.

Do the 12 photos cover the whole vacation?

No. Each person gets 12 photos per day during the trip’s capture dates. The daily roll uses your phone’s local midnight automatically. A time zone change does not restart your active roll. Reopen the camera with a connection to refresh your allowance, and the next roll adapts to your detected zone. Unused shots do not carry over.

Can we collect old vacation photos too?

The PopCam album contains new photos taken in its browser camera during your trip. It does not import existing photo libraries or videos.

Can we add more relatives to the package?

Trip packages show how many people with a camera are included and the current price for each extra person. Enter the number of people you want to include in setup and review the total before paying.

Is the family album public?

The album is shared through its own link and opens at your scheduled reveal. Anyone with that link can access it once it opens, so share it only with the intended family members and remember that they can forward it.
